Six standard sizes, from intimate to gallery-scale. Here is how to choose the right one for your space.
Both rows use identical scale — same-size print has the same area in both orientations. Most small-town photography is landscape.
Intimate. Ideal for a bedside table, small grouping, or desk display.
Best for: Accent walls, small spaces, desks
Versatile and popular. Makes a statement standalone, compact enough for most rooms.
Best for: Guest room, office, hallway
The most popular size. Strong presence as a centerpiece in any living room, bedroom, or dining space.
Best for: Living room, bedroom, dining room
Bold statement piece. Best for rooms with generous wall space.
Best for: Large living rooms, open spaces
Gallery scale. Commands attention. Best for high-ceiling spaces and feature walls.
Best for: Feature walls, entryways, great rooms
The largest standard size. A landmark piece for a landmark space.
Best for: Commercial spaces, large feature walls
The print should fill roughly 60-80% of the wall width for a balanced look. Too small and it floats; too large and it overwhelms.
If the print hangs above a sofa, bed, or console, it should be no wider than that piece. Leave 6-8 inches of wall on each side.
The center of the print should sit 57-60 inches from the floor. Adjust slightly lower for rooms where you spend time seated.
Most people underestimate how large a print needs to be to feel intentional. If choosing between two sizes, choose the larger one.
